The beginning of a vineyard journey

The birth of a vineyard is a process that requires foresight, care, and a deep understanding of the land.

For this reason we traveled to Ermioni, Argolida, to plant a new vineyard with Assyrtiko. Panos and Sotiria were there—not only to guide the process but to ensure that each vine received the attention it deserved.

Preparation began months ago, in autumn. The soil was carefully cultivated, base fertilization was applied thoughtfully, and the trellising system was installed with precision. For this vineyard, we chose individual vine support with stakes, as the vines will be trained in the traditional gobelet sur échalas style.

This choice is intentional. It respects the microclimate, harnesses natural balance, and enhances the uniqueness of the variety. Every decision we make serves a purpose: to honor the land, provide the vines with the best possible conditions, and deliver a result worthy of those who place their trust in us.
