The ungrafted journey of Savatiano.

Three years ago, among the hills of Porto Rafti, we discovered something rare: Mrs. Chasioti’s vineyard, passed down through generations and preserved on its own roots. Perhaps the only vineyard in Greece with ungrafted Savatiano. The moment we found it, we felt deeply moved, as if we had touched a living piece of history.

Since then, for three years, we have been working with dedication and curiosity. Experimenting with different viticultural approaches, always driven by the desire to express the pure soul of the variety.

Today, we stand once again in the vineyard with Spyros Markou and the Markou family (Ampelones Markou Vineyards), true companions who share our vision: to showcase Savatiano at its original root. To illuminate this living heritage and give it a renewed voice, in every glass, in every whisper of the land.

For us, this is not just a project. It is something deeper: a dialogue with tradition, a conversation with time. The pursuit of truth, where the root stands unaltered, carrying within it a story worth telling. Stay tuned for what’s next.
